Inside the Mechanics Garage

Image Auto Sales and Service is a family owned car dealership located in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. The owner, known as Junior or Edward Dufresne, shares the business with his father, Edward Dufresne. At the start of the business day, Junior checks the company's mail.

While Junior is inside sorting mail, Edward is outside maintaining the appearance of the car lot. He loads tar down first to fix the pavement grooves. While doing so, he is careful to not get his shoes full of tar.

Junior then comes to check up on his dad. The two are always communicating with each other. Communication is important when owning a business together. Without conversing with your partner, problems may arise.

After laying out the tar, it is time for Edward to roll it out smoothly. However, things don't go as smoothly when Ed decides to stop and roll back in the reverse direction causing a bump to be made on the pavement. I guess you can't teach an old dog new tricks!

Once the outside is finished, it's time to come on in to check out the cars and the employees. Here, both son and father check out their employee, John, while he is working on an oil change.

It's a dirty job but somebody has to do it!
Next, Big Ed checks with the rest of the employees to make sure this car is all set and ready to be given to its new owner.
Now its Lil Ed's turn to check out a customer’s car brought in that day. Lil Ed knows that making sure to check the engine for any problems is first on the list of things to check.

It has been a busy day and Big Ed is ready to end his shift to go eat. Edward and Junior know that it takes more than working on cars to run a car dealership. There are those little things that people don't often think of that needs to be done. Without them, the business would go nowhere.
